SAN BERNARDINO, CA (January 15, 2021) – San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder Bob Dutton announced the signing and delivery of the latest Supplemental Assessment Roll to the County’s Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector. Supplemental Assessment Roll #123 contains a total net assessed value of $6,885,936,091.
“As required by state law, the Assessor-Recorder-Clerk staff continues to provide essential services to complete the constitutional mandates required of this office. Supplemental Assessment Roll #123 for San Bernardino County has been signed and delivered to the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector,” said Assessor-Recorder Bob Dutton.
The San Bernardino County Assessor’s office provides a Supplemental Roll three times a year, in addition to the annual Property Assessment Roll mid-year. State law requires county assessors to reappraise property subject to Proposition 13 upon a change in ownership or new construction to identify changes in assessed value that occur in the middle of a fiscal year, whether an increase or decrease.
